Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I used various combinations of "swirl-distort" operations to create this Van Gogh-like Starry Night rendition of the summer milky way behind the abandoned rural Antiochia Lutheran Church in ND. On a very dark and clear night last month, I tried to create/capture some visions I envisioned of the the Milky Way arching above the beautiful Antiochia Lutheran Church (Ramsey County, ND). I also experimented with some low-level lighting techniques whereby I placed my lit-Iphone and another small flashlight inside the building (during long exposures) to "bring it back to life".. This image features the "Back side" of the Antiochia Lutheran church with core of our galaxy (Milky Way) directly to left of steeple (we're looking south southwest here). The sky on this shot was composite from 6 separate 30 second...

Peter Herman

Peter Herman was born and raised on a farm in North Dakota. He first became interested in photography during high-school, and after acquiring a Pentax SLR, began taking photos for the school yearbook and developing/printing B&W images in school darkroom. He continued shooting through college, taking portraits, group pictures, weddings, but after beginning his engineering career at Cummins, he let his photography interests go dormant until about 2005 when he acquired his first DSLR and started shooting scenic landscapes from around the US, but concentrating especially on rural areas in ND and WI. Many of his images were encountered while riding motorcycle down random backroads during "golden hour", searching for that magic light...
