"Balance of Power"
Here's an icescape from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Smokestacks are from the 380 Megawatt Alliant coal-fired Edgewater Generating Station along Lake Michigan shoreline, on south side of city. The plant has already been partially shut down, and will be fully decommissioned by end of this year.
As I was crouched down on the ice shelf shooting this, I started to have a feeling of "motion", at which point I realized the ice shelf was bobbing up and down with the waves. I quickly finished shooting and made an exit!
Image captured 1/29/22 with Pentax K-1 and DFA15-30 at 15mm - two horizontal shots stitched vertically, so this is an ultra-ultra wide perspective.
