I'm not sure when or why this big concrete Co-Op elevator in the small (population 69 in 2011) central ND town of Butte was abandoned, but I thought it was beautiful as sidelit by the late-afternoon sun which grazed the front wall at a shallow angle giving visibility to the concrete texture created by the slip-form construction method.
