"Catalpa Blossom"
As I was walking my dog, I happened to take a closer look at a flowering catalpa tree at our neighborhood park. I thought that the tiny orchid-like flowers would make an interesting macro photo subject. This resulting image is stacked from 7 shots (shifting focus slightly each time) to get "full flower" in focus, and then I applied a background gradient in a complementary color tone to the orange highlights in flower.
Image captured 6/25/22 with Pentax K-1 and DFA100 macro lens.
