"Creation Falls" at Red River Gorge Geological Area, KY
This beautiful waterfall lies on the Rockbridge Fork just before it joins with the Swift Camp Creek in the Red River Gorge area of Kentucky. It felt a bit like a Garden of Eden on this beautiful spring day with beams of sunlight streaming through the hemlock and rhododendren, with trees just beginning to bud out . A true rock bridge (i.e. a bridge or arch actually OVER the river, which is rather rare) lies just downstream, and I'll share images of that tomorrow.
Image captured 3/31/21 with Pentax K-1 and DFA28-105 lens at 48mm, so perspective is quite "normal".
