Dad's Pond"
My dad created this pond and planted the trees around it, out at our farm on the ND prairie, just for beauty's sake... He planted tens of thousands of trees in the area and created countless shelter belts, arboretums, native grasslands etc. Now the product of his efforts easily shows up on a Google satellite view of the area! When I was a young kid, I tilled/hoed a lot of the trees he planted, and didn't really "get it". Now I do.
