Description
This sleek F-86 Sabrejet is an unexpected suprise, sitting on pedestal by the highway at the Walhalla ND airport. This was a transonic jet fighter from the Korean war era in the 50's, and was the first that could counter the Soviet MiG-15. I took the liberty of "digitally releasing" this airplane from its earthly anchoring pedestal and letting her fly again It was tricky, since I had to "invent" some under-parts of the airplane that were blocked by large pedestal. Motion blur also added to background to increase the sense of realism. This was a fun editing project on this beautiful piece of history. Another image is also available - search for same name.
