Artist's Description
This is captured after an an freezing-rain/ice storm which coated EVERYTHING, like a hilly ice-skating rink. Anyway the trees got glazed too, so I took the chance to shoot this pair of oaks near Oregon, WI that I had starred on my Google map "shoot list" for quite a while. I knew the sun would be positioned behind them like I wanted. I literally had to scoot down the road ditch on my butt because the glaze ice was too slippery to maintain upright stance - rather humiliating to do this in full sight of all the cars passing by (busy highway)! I have uploaded 5 shots to this gallery site, including a monster >70 Megapixel 4-shot composite, if you want a very large product, so be sure to browse my collection before choosing.
Images captured with Pentax K-1 DFA28-105mm lens on 2/8/2019.

Many of his images were encountered while riding motorcycle down random backroads during "golden hour", searching for that magic light...
