"I'm Boating to the Bar for a Drink"
This abandoned joint, once known as “Helmer’s Bar” (zoom in to see its slightly inebriated-looking rooftop "billboard" ) near Oriska ND along I94 appears to me that it was once a country schoolhouse that was later converted to a stripper bar for educations of an entirely different kind. I thought it was humorous that a lone boat is parked at the bar, as if the driver boated there and had to catch an alternate ride home...
Image captured 6/5/21 with Pentax K-1 and DFA15-30mm lens at 15mm. It was a record 100F when I shot this.
