"Lake Michigan Daydreams"
A "king of the cairn" seagull at the Milwaukee shoreline of Lake Michigan, coupled with the distant sailboat heading north gave me this nice composition. I did have to focus-stack, though - I was using a longish (200mm) lens, and when focused on bird/stones the boat and water was very blurry (which looks "OK" too, but I wanted the boat tack sharp), so I quickly took two shots in rapid succession with shifted focus and then merged them together in post.
