The sun beams through holes in roof at this second-floor abandoned homestead in Benson County, ND, while the wind whips through missing walls and windows. This room is on the second floor of the abandoned Kittel Groff homestead in Benson County, ND. I very very carefully inched my way up the stairwell, keeping all of my weight (and I'm a big guy!) at the outer edge of the steps, since the structure is in state of advanced decay. I stopped short of the top step and captured this image, where the sun is beaming through hole(s) in roof. The imagination runs wild in places like this...
