"Nestled in for Winter"
This old barn was part of a collection of buildings at an abandoned farm on the NW outskirts of Stoughton that are now all gone, demolished and replaced by a large housing development project. I'm thankful I had a chance to do extensive photography work at the location, before that happened. The snow was coming down quite heavily when I was shooting here on this particular day, and my lens kept getting wet, so it was challenging! I was trying to capture the snow, streaking in front of the red boards, and I was also drawn to include the few green leaves still hanging on - they apparently missed word that winter was coming! This image was captured Dec 4, 2016.
