"Primordial Reflections"
I captured this image very near the "Turtle Trio" image (search by that title to see it), at Lake Kegonsa state park. This waterway is a small creek that feeds in to Lake Kegonsa. I liked that one reflected golden tree foliage in the dark water at lower right and the side-lit clump of cattails on left. The image was captured in infrared spectrum with modified Pentax K-3 (sensitive only to >720 nm wavelength), so any green foliage glows brightly when sunlit - the so-called "Wood Effect", named after the man who pionered use of infrared photography for landscape work.
