"Simpler Times"
I shot this around the time of the summer riots of 2020, and for me, it reflects back to much simpler, calmer times - A time when all grades k-8 shared a single room and a single teacher. But then I realized that maybe that perception is a temporal illusion - after all, those were the times of polio, Spanish Flu, rampant death in childbirth, WW1, WW2, Dustbowl, depression, hunger, etc. Maybe the PRESENT is the "simpler times"... but I digress..
