Description
Despite really hating all the "seed wings" it sheds on my porch, this time of year, the beautiful color is the payback offered by my backyard maple tree... I raked some leaves into shape (with many fine-tunings by hand for Apostle islands, et.al.) and shot from a ladder... I have a few other versions with the "map" extracted onto sky shots... Just search "Wisconsin map" to see them all. . I shot it from atop a ladder. Got some strange looks from passers-by!
Note - I have another version of this with a sky and rainbow as backdrop. I kept this "plain white" version available because some might prefer, but I like the rainbow version better myself..
