Sun-Flower-Syzygy
I placed the setting sun directly behind this proud and tall roadside sunflower, which really brings out the prickly/fuzzy detail in the stems of these prairie plants (zoom in a bit, or you’ll miss it!). This was taken a mile north of Brinsmade, ND on 9/4/20, and the trees in background shelter the farmstead that I grew up in.
Pentax K-1 with Rokinon 135mm lens (a "surgically sharp"piece of glass!).
