Description
"Who Let the (sun) Dogs Out?"
I shot this on 1/15/20 while travelling home on US Highway 2, east of Devils lake. Temperature was -10F (probably about -30F with windchill). Just prior to shooting this (and I was stupidly outside coatless, since it was "only going to take a second"), a snowplow went by at full speed and covered me with powdery fresh snow. After it blew past me, it made a nice "blizzard" effect to complement the sundogs and three foreground bales (which is why I stopped here, for the "numeric symmetry" aspect with the sun+dogs. I was cold and wet for a while after getting back in the car, but it was worth it to get the shot!
Pentax K-1 and DFA28-105 lens.
