Artist's Description
This grassy path, once road, leads to the now abandoned homestead of the Stensby family which has been overtaken by the rising waters of Devils Lake (but was abandoned decades earlier). Image captured with the setting sun at my back, giving the beautiful golden light you see here, on June 2016.
About Peter Herman
Peter Herman was born and raised on a farm in North Dakota. He first became interested in photography during high-school, and after acquiring a Pentax SLR, began taking photos for the school yearbook and developing/printing B&W images in school darkroom. I like the soft light, nicely done.
Peter Herman replied:
Thanks very much - I'm brand new to this site/service, so hope it goes well and my customers are happy with the quality, delivery.. I'll have to check out this "social" (commenting/liking/following) aspect - I didn't know about that part of FAA.
Peter Herman replied:
Thanks Radek - I have had really strong/positive feedback on quality in all but a couple cases, which were promptly resolved by FAA customer service with re-print or refund. A++ from me.. I just wish they reported WHO purchased vs. just "where from" - I'd like to thank customers personally, but cannot.
