I noticed the high, wispy clouds in sky about 30 minutes before sunset and thought, "hmm, this could be a good one", so I quickly drove north to a nice foreground - Babcock park on Lake Waubesa (Wisconsin). The sky lit up shortly after sunset with intense color - this image, shot about 10 minutes after sunset, actually has the vibrance and saturation dialed back a few ticks in postprocessing. That fisherman (zoom in!) must feel like he is fishing in heaven.
