Description
This shot was taken in ~1982 on slide film from the second floor of abandoned bank building which I loved exploring (always dreamed I'd find a stash of money/coins there!). This view is looking NNW up the road which vanishes off in the distance, where it connects with the county road. This building is now gone, along with many of the other historical buildings in this once-thriving town, prior to loss of the railroad spur.

Fascinating shot.
Peter Herman replied:
Thanks Chris- I entered this in the "State Fair" contest when I was in high school ~(1982) and it won a blue ribbon so I was pretty psyched back then! Sad that the building is long gone and images like this one (and dozens of others I took there) are all that remain..
