Western Koshkonong Norwegian Lutheran in Winter

Here is the historic Western Koshkonong, built in 1892, at a cost of $7400. Architect was Jens Naeseth of Stoughton. Koshkonong church(es) (it’s confusing - there’s an "East" and "West" and “Western” - I have photos of them all - just search "Koshkonong" on my gallery!) are the first Norwegian American congregations started by the influential Norwegian minister and missionary, J.W.C. Dietrichson in mid 1800's. A church school was later constructed across the road from the church.
