I drove to Lake Mills (WI) hoping to photograph the "IceHenge" out on the frozen lake (search my gallery for "Icehenge" to see prior images of that), but unfortunately it had already collapsed (or maybe toppled for safety reasons). But I did find this "altar-like" structure nearby, constructed from remnants of the henge. I took many variations, but have selected two for posting - one with sun visible, and one with sun eclipsed. The latter was a slight favorite on my social media. Seach "Ice Altar" to see them both if you're interested in procuring one of these images.
