Description

I captured this idyllic mountain scene on Fuji Velvia slide film in July 1992, and scanned it to digital with a home light-table rig and macro lens. It amazes me how much detail was captured with "old" film technology. The colored orbs are lens flares from the sun, which was just outside of frame at upper left, and I thought the splash of ethereal color added some additional ambiance to the image. However, I have a version without the big flare - if you love this image, but would prefer "flareless", just message me and I can upload it.
