"Magnificent Monona Bay Morning"
I took a nice early AM bicycle ride around Lake Monona (Madison, WI) yesterday, and this spot was one that caught my eye for its scenic beauty. Looking east over Monona Bay, a flowering cherry (?) tree provided the foreground, three pelicans gave a subject, and a dramatic cloudscape complete crepuscular rays filled in the backdrop. I took a second shot at same location, with the same flowering cherry tree framing the Wisconsin capitol dome. search for same title to see both.
