Description
A patch of ice formed in a quiet spot on Allen Creek at Lake Leota Park. Taken 12/30/17 — at Lake Leota Park, of Allen Creek, with sun low on SW horizon. Despite the bitter cold (~0F), the creek was still free-flowing. I converted the images to black and white which seemed to fit the colorless subjects. These photographs were both taken using a very dark filter to allow long (30 sec) shutter speed which renders the water a smooth blur.
Taken with Pentax K-1 and FA20-35mm lens with 1000x ND filter at f8, 30 sec, ISO100.
